Our longtime soundman, Sam Griffin, suffered a debilitating stroke. He's recovering, but slowly, and with few resources. We who have relied on him so long -- now he relies on us.

For the Soup and salad benefit dinner, the musicians lined up currently include Cathy  Barton and Dave Para and some members of the the Irish Thursday Night session group, Lee Ruth, Kathy Gordon,  we hope many others. Jim Thaxter and other guest callers will be there for the contra dance. Dave Para and myself are the current music coordinators.  The Mid -Missouri Traditional Dancers (MMTD)  will be there in full force and maybe folks from St. Louis as well. Any other musiciansyou are  most welcome to join in !

We're hoping to make the food a Soup & Salad Pot Luck and those who want can donate to the cause. Soups should be brought in slow cooker or crock pots that can be plugged in and kept warm. Desserts are also welcome (although sadly no real sugar for Sam).
