Fiddlers’
contest 1-5 pm
-4 divisions
of play:
Novice (age 10 and under);
Youth (age 11-15);
Adult (16-55);
Esquire (56 and better)
-Cash prizes
for 5 places in Youth, Adult and Esquire divisions
-Cash,
ribbons and certificates for all participants in the Novice division
-Playoff
between #1 fiddlers in the Adult and Esquire divisions; winner’s name engraved
on the Taylor McBaine Memorial Grand Champion Trophy
that is displayed at the Boone County Historic Museum in Nifong
Park
Fiddlers must compete in their own age
group;
Up to two accompanists permitted per
contestant
