The Taylor McBaine Memorial Fiddle Contest
at the Fall Heritage Festival, Columbia, Missouri
Register at 12:30 pm;
Fiddlers’ contest 1-5 pm
-4 divisions of play:
Novice (age 10 and under);
Youth (age 11-15);
Adult (16-55);
Esquire (56 and better)
-Cash prizes for 5 places in Youth, Adult and Esquire divisions
-Cash, ribbons and certificates for all participants in the Novice division
-Playoff between #1 fiddlers in the Adult and Esquire divisions; winner’s name engraved on the Taylor McBaineMemorial Grand Champion Trophy that is displayed at the Boone County Historic Museum in Nifong Park
Fiddlers must compete in their own age group;
Up to two accompanists permitted per contestant

Directions: From I-70 take Hwy 63 south to AC exit. Turn west onto Old 63, then left onto APonderosa. Pass Nifong Blvd and the park is on the right. Park in public parking area. If you wish to park in the vendor area please contact Karen ramey at (573) 874-6397 for a parking pass. The contest will be held at the Walters Boone County Museum Veranda Sttage. No admission charge.
